In her early years, Melanie was drawn into social justice movements and started her career (after the obligatory years in the service industry) advocating for those who are less fortunate.  She learned early that she could create positive change by empowering others which is a tool she still uses successfully today with her clients and teams. Her advocating efforts led her into New York City politics where she worked to help new candidates and experienced politicians successfully navigate the City’s Campaign Finance Program.  

After taking some time off to raise her children, the hardest job she ever had, she was provided an opportunity in the contingent workforce world.  Capitalizing on her previous experience in government helping to make proprietary software work better for internal and external users she was able to dig in and understand how to help make industry VMS tools create efficiencies and solutions for her team and clients.  Melanie likes to say her sweet spot is managing people, processes, and programs, always looking for ways to empower her clients and teams and lead by example to strive for excellence.

Melanie’s experience in a breadth of industries including hospitality, non-profit, government, and the private sector has given her the ability to see solutions from many perspectives which is a great benefit to her teams and clients.  

Melanie resides in Denver, CO, and can be heard on many calls bragging about the 300+ days of sunshine she gets to enjoy.  In her downtime, she enjoys her kids, cats, live music, and any time she can carve out to enjoy a good book.
